Being a shoe addict I base most of my wardrobe around the shoes I wear for which season. Yes I admit I have a problem…..I don’t have enough closet space. HAHA!! To me nothing says spring more than cute sandals. Strappy type sandals are really in this Spring.
While shopping around I found a really cute lighter pair on Amazon that was less than $14. I think I see another purchase in the near future. They are so versatile I can wear them with business casual at the office or just shorts and t-shirt on the weekends.

I’ve been playing around with outfit combinations that I can wear these with for work and every day. I have found that I can pair these with a pair of nice pants and blouse and have a nice professional and fun outfit for work. Needless to say I have been wearing them a lot.
Of course if we are going to wear sandals your toes need to be de-winterized. So take that dark red or burgundy nail polish off and try a pretty pastel or florescent color to set off those new sandals and your spring style. You can get some very reasonable priced nail polishes. There are lots of great colors. Pick a color that makes you feel creative and helps expressive your fun personality.
I have found that a pedicure is the best way to get your feet ready for sandals. However I know they aren’t always in the budget.
There are lots of DYI pedicure routines. I usually just soak my feet in Epson salts. I love our Something Beautiful Foot Soaks. Our Lavender is very relaxing, while the Peppermint is invigorating!

Once they are soft use a pumice stone to get all that rough skin off. I love to experiment with fun colors and change up often to keep my toes looking fresh. This can be done alone to save money or if you are just trying to extend time in between your professional pedicures.
